It has been quite a while since my last blog post. That might lead someone to believe that I have completely abandoned the blog. That wouldn’t be an unreasonable assumption. But the reality is that all of my efforts in writing have simply been dedicated to another project (book). I will write shortly about that project, but in the meantime, this post is meant to inform the huge danieljacobson.com audience that I plan to write at least once a week here again in 2012.
So, I put together this blog a few months ago with the greatest intentions. I planned to write to it at least weekly and was going to focus on a range of topics, including NPR, APIs, daily musings, etc. Clearly, that hasn’t happened… yet.
With the recent life change (if you haven’t heard, I am leaving NPR for Netflix), I have decided that this is the perfect time to start what I originally intended to do. This time, however, there will be two differences. First, I am actually going to do it (I hope). And second, the topics will likely be a different blend of personal and work.
So, wish me luck in keeping this blog alive (and interesting)!
